The Governor's Reception was a lovely event (AFTER registration closed). I find this series of shots with our fair Governor particularly amusing in light of the story behind them... Governor and I prepare for picture #1. Oh, wait, that pesky man has ruined the shot!

Said man places his cane and cocktail on the table a few feet away...his cane wobbles then slides of the table, taking the cocktail glass down with it, as if in slow motion. Governor and I stare in bewilderment (myself in disbelief):

Finally, all is right again.
